Practice Lab Terms

Beta version · 22 October 2026 · Minds On Fire Inc., 1151 Whealan Rd, Woodstock, ON N4S 8E6, Canada · solutions@mindsonfire.ca

1. Terms of Use

1.1 What the Practice Lab is. A learning and practice environment. You can build and test apps, agents and campaign plans in an isolated space, and publish a preview you approve. It is a practice tool. It is not hosting for production websites, live customer systems, or anything you rely on to run your business.

1.2 Eligibility and accounts. You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these terms. You sign in with an email link. One person, one account. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone with it can sign in as you.

1.3 Free plan. Free use comes with daily limits shown in the Lab (for example, practice time per day, spaces at once, and resets). Free spaces are deleted after 24 hours without use. Free preview links expire after 7 days unless renewed. We may change free limits at any time, and we may pause free sign-ups when capacity or our monthly budget is reached ("Practice is full today").

1.4 Paid plan. The paid plan, its price and its limits are shown on the upgrade page at checkout. Those details form part of these terms for your billing period. If we change the price or reduce paid limits, we tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

1.5 Your content. You own what you create in the Lab. You give us a limited licence to store, run, copy and display it only as needed to operate the Lab, publish previews you approve, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not claim ownership, and we will not publish your work outside your own preview link without your permission.

1.6 Your responsibility for what you put in. Do not upload or enter:

The Lab is for practice data. If you put real secrets or personal information in anyway, you do so at your own risk.

1.7 Publishing. Nothing goes live until you approve it. You are responsible for what you publish. We may take down any preview that breaks the Acceptable Use rules, with or without notice.

1.8 Your AI assistant. If you connect your own Claude, ChatGPT or other AI assistant, that provider's terms and charges apply to your use of it. We do not control it and are not responsible for its output.

1.9 No professional advice. Lab content, examples and starters are educational. They are not legal, financial, insurance, tax or other professional advice for your situation.

1.10 Availability and changes. The Lab is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be interrupted, slow, reset or changed. We may add, change or remove features, limits or the Lab itself. We do not guarantee that any work will be kept, so download anything you want to keep. If we end the paid plan, we give paid members at least 14 days' notice where we reasonably can, plus a prorated refund for unused paid time.

1.11 Suspension. We may suspend or delete spaces or accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use rules, that put the Lab, other users or third parties at risk, or where the law requires it. If we suspend a paid account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused paid time.

1.12 Liability. To the extent the law allows:

1.13 Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless your local consumer law gives you a different right.

1.14 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its date. For material changes affecting paid members, we email at least 30 days before the change applies to them.

2. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Lab to:

Security research needs our written permission first. Report suspected vulnerabilities to solutions@mindsonfire.ca.

We monitor activity (see Privacy, section 3) partly to enforce these rules. We may remove content, end spaces, block accounts and report illegal activity to the authorities.

4. Billing, Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Billing.

4.2 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing solutions@mindsonfire.ca.

4.3 Refunds.

4.4 Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we retry and email you. If it is still unpaid after 7 days, the account returns to the free plan.

4.5 Chargebacks. Please contact us first; most issues can be fixed quickly. We may suspend an account while a chargeback is open.
